George Shirreffs joined Schilling Robotics in 2000 as the logistics manager for the North Sea regional office. From 2005-2011, Shirreffs was the managing director of Schilling Robotics, Ltd. in Aberdeen, Scotland, which led to exponential growth in the region. In October 2011, he assumed responsibility for leading the development and delivery of innovative and industry leading services to our customers. He has the overall responsibility for our worldwide customer service functions to include field service, technical support, technical training, repair service, and spares.
Shirreffs brought to Schilling 10 years of experience in finance, manufacturing, account management and warehouse management. His broad range of knowledge in the oil and gas industry is valuable in supporting strategies to meet Schilling customers’ needs.
Shirreffs earned his Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from The Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen. He is also an active member of the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT).
