Peter MacInnes joined Schilling Robotics in 2009 as vice president of marketing. In his current capacity, he is responsible for leading the development of our company’s strategic business and product marketing plans, with a focus on ensuring cross-functional alignment of all sales and marketing related activities worldwide. This includes global sales, marketing communications, product marketing, and market research.
MacInnes brought to Schilling over 20 years of experience in the subsea sector. He has served in sales and marketing management positions with companies, such as FMC Technologies, Perry Slingsby Systems, and OceanWorks International. His background includes several years working offshore with ROVs and intervention tooling systems, which provide a valuable understanding of the operational environment. His experience in cultivating new business opportunities for high-technology subsea companies will facilitate long-term growth for our company through strategic, customer-focused planning.
MacInnes earned an Honors degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from the Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is an active member of the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT), Marine Technology Society (MTS), and the American Marketing Association (AMA).
