next-generation model of Schilling Robotics’
communication system, the Digital Telemetry System™
(DTS™), can provide communications, control,
and power distribution for virtually any remotely
operated system. |
- Allows rapid system expansion and a wide
range of physical configurations
- Gigabit Ethernet backbone for reliability
and compatibility with networked devices
- Up to 4080 ports per optical fiber
- Ports can be individually configured for
serial, video, or Ethernet communications
- 360 watts of DC power per port, with electronic
fusing and line isolation monitoring
- Digital video transmission supporting
NTSC, PAL, or IP cameras with megapixel resolution
at video frame rates
- Supports STP protocol for redundancy with
seamless fiber switching

Because the DTS accommodates serial,
video, and Ethernet data, it is perfect for applications
that require an extremely flexible setup and control
of cameras, lights, tools, and instruments.
The DTS is suited for any subsea (full-ocean
depth) or hazardous environment. The system builds
on Schilling Robotics’ proven Remote Systems
Engine™ technology to reduce complexity
and to increase capacity, flexibility, and reliability. |
